Site activities resulted in chloroform <br /> contamination of the groundwater. Georgia-Pacific conducted several activities to <br /> clean up the groundwater, and is now seeking a determination from the State that <br /> no further action is necessary. <br /> California Environmental The Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (Central Valley <br /> Protection Agency Water Board) is the lead agency responsible for overseeing the cleanup of soil and <br /> Linda S. Adams groundwater at the site. The Central Valley Water Board is providing the <br /> Secretary of the Environment opportunity for the public to comment on Georgia Pacific's proposal.
