For new facilities, this information shall <br /> be supplied to the Department at the time of certificat': (see section <br /> 66391), rather than at the time of permit application. <br /> (e) The plan shall include a list of all emergency equipment at the <br /> facility (such as fire extinguishing systems, spill ccntroL equipment, <br /> coam nications and alarm systems (internal and external) and <br /> decontamination equipment), where this equipment is required. This List <br /> shall be kept up to date. in addition, the plan shalt inc'!.Lice the location <br /> and a physical description of each item on the list and a brief outline of <br /> its capabilities. <br /> (f) The plan shall include an evacuation plan for facility perso eL <br /> where there is a possibility that evacuation could be necessary. This plan <br /> shall describe signaL(s) to be used to begin evacuation, evacuation routes <br /> and alternate evacuation routes (in cases where the primary routes could be <br /> blocked by releases of hazardous waste or fires). <br /> Section 66508 (a, b, & c) , Title 22, California Code of <br /> Regulation <br /> (a) A generator may accumulate hazardous waste on site for 90 days or <br /> Less without a permit or without having interim status provided that: <br /> (1) The waste is placed in containers and the generator complies with <br /> Article 24 as it applies to interim status facilities, or the waste is <br /> placed in tanks and the generator complies with Article 25 as it appLies to <br /> interim status facilities except for Section 67258. <br /> (2) The date upon which each period of accumulation begins is clearly <br /> marked and visible for inspection on each container. <br /> (3) While being accumulated on site, each container and tank is labeled <br /> or marked clearly with the words, "Hazardous Waste", and the additional <br /> language as required under subsection (c) of this section. <br /> (4) The generator complies with the requirements for owners or <br /> operators in Articles 19 and 20 and Section 67105. <br /> (b) A generator who accumulates hazardous waste for more than 90 days <br /> is an operator of a storage facility and is subject to the requirements of <br /> Articles 17 through 32 and the permit requirements of Article 6 unless he <br /> has been granted an extension to the 90-day period. Such extension nay be <br /> granted by the Department if hazardous wastes must remain on site for <br /> longer than 90 days due to unforeseen, temporary and uncontrollable <br /> circumstances. An extension of up to 30 days may be granted at the <br /> discretion of the Department on a case-by-case basis. <br />
