Tasks 1 through 5 were presented in that letter. As <br /> discussed with and authorized by Mr. Doug Dutton, we have included <br /> the installation of a deep well under Task 6. <br /> Task 1 <br /> Install two 2-inch diameter monitoring wells, BC15 and BC16, to a <br /> depth not to exceed 80 feet at the locations shown on Figure 1 . <br /> These locations were chosen based on the previous groundwater <br /> modeling results. The wells will be developed by surging and <br /> pumping, will be slug-tested to determine local hydraulic <br /> conductivity, and will be sampled to determine chloroform <br /> concentration in the shallow groundwater. <br /> Task 2 <br /> Survey the top of casing elevations of the new wells and measure <br /> water levels in all monitoring wells to define the water table <br /> configuration and gradient in the vicinity of the Tracy site . <br /> Task 3 <br /> Pump test Well BC13 and monitor water level in Well BC12 to determine <br /> if the groundwater zones monitored by these wells are interconnected. <br /> PO BOX 8045 WALNUT CREEK.CA 94596-1220.
