FJ5GO 1q4
OLIVEC -
MASCO
March 21, 2008
Mr. Mike Infurna
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, CA. 95202
RE: Well Permit Application
Dear Mr. Inf ima,
Enclosed please find a well permit application for the installation of eight wells at Musco
Family Olive Company (Studley Company). The workplan is attached on a CD, Section
8 of the report on the CD is the workplan for the installation. Location #4 and#5 may
have two wells each, one deep and one shallow. Please note that only the onsite wells
(those to be installed on property owned by Musco Olive/Studley Company) are
covered under this permit application, as access agreements are still being negotiated.
The offsite wells will be permitted under a separate well permit application as soon as
the access agreements are secured.
Additionally, one well covered under this application (PDW4) is being drilled as an
exploratory deep well, not in response to regulatory requirements, and as such the
location is not found in the workplan. Please see the attached map for the location of
PDW4.
We are tentatively planning on beginning drilling on April 14, 2008 assuming the well
permit application is approved and that your schedule allows for that date. Drilling is
anticipated to take approximately two weeks.
If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call at 836-4600 ext. 355 or send me an
email at DennisL@ohves.com .
cerely,1(
Dennis Leika/mm
Musco FAMILY OLIVE CO. 17950 VIA NICOLO,TRACY,CA 95377 td209-836-4600 1.209-836-0518 uud WWW.OLIVES.COM
