Kennedy/Jenks Consuttants <br /> There were originally two "background" lysimeters that were monitored as part of the vadose <br /> zone monitoring program. One was installed just southwest of the Title 27 ponds and another <br /> was installed just to the west/northwest of the Title 27 ponds, at the Southern Pacific Railroad <br /> fence line approximately due north of Well MW-22. Over the years, both "background" <br /> lysimeters have been lost, likely disked into the ground during field preparation. <br /> As required by the RWQCB, these "background" lysimeters need to be replaced.
