�— -- KLEINFELDER <br /> 4 LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> 4.1 SOIL ANALYSIS <br /> A minimum of two (2) soil samples from both deep borings in the pond areas will be analyzed. <br /> The samples analyzed will be collected from plastic (fat) clays as they are encountered and <br /> interpreted to be aquitard material. The soil samples will tested for the following parameters: <br /> Hydraulic conductivity utilizing a flexible wall permeameter using ASTM 5084-90. <br /> Grain size distribution using ASTM D-422. <br /> The soil samples will be tested in the"undisturbed" condition and not remolded. <br /> 4.2 GROUNDWATER ANALYSIS <br /> A maximum of two groundwater samples will be submitted to a State certified laboratory and <br /> analyzed for the following: <br /> • Sodium by EPA Method 200.7 <br /> • Chloride by Met 4500 CLI-D <br /> • Total Dissolved Solids by EPA Method 160.1 <br /> • Dissolved Inorganic Solids by EPA Method 160.4 <br /> • Specific Conductivity by EPA Method 120.1 <br /> The samples will be analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two <br /> weeks (ten working days) for completion. <br /> 20-2594-03.WP2/2011R002 Pagel of 12 <br /> Copyright 2000 Kleinfelder,Inc.
