' • k■ KLEINFELDER
Groundwater was sampled after the soil boring was advanced into first encountered groundwater.
Groundwater was allowed to rise in the boring until it appeared to equilibrate to its static level.
' Groundwater was brought to the surface through the augers with a clean, disposable, Teflon
bailer. The samples were immediately labeled and placed in an iced sample container.
' Equipment used for groundwater sampling was decontaminated prior to use at each sampling
' location by steam cleaning, and cleaning with a non-phosphate detergent wash followed by a
distilled water rinse.
' After completion, the deep borings were grouted in accordance with San Joaquin County San
Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental Health Department requirements using
' cement based grout material.
1
1
20-2594-03.004/201 I R447 Page 7 of 16
Copyright 2001 Kleinfelder, Inc.
