h
3.0 Tank T2
During a telephone conversation between Mr. Gregory Lyons and Mr.
Erik Friedrich (WESTON) on December 18, 1989, Mr. Lyons expressed
concern over the lack of analytical results for the Tank T2
backfill. This backfilling was conducted by Laura Scudders' tank
removal contractor, Precision Industries, Inc. under permission
from the Health Department. It is unknown whether this backfill
sampled prior to placement. WESTON is in concurrence with Mr.
Lyons that the backfill should be analyzed if it had not been.
4.0 Tank T3
In reference to Tank T3, Mr. Lyons expressed concern over both the
TPH concentrations and the toluene concentrations detected within
the soils. Each of these compounds are discussed individually in
the following sections. One other concern of Mr. Lyons was in
reference to the regulatory standard limits utilized within the
WESTON report. The information source of the standards utilized in
preparation of the report were as follows:
Source 1 - The California Regional Water
Hoard, Central Valle Quality Control
Valley Region's s (CRWQCBQCB,CVR) Water
Qaality objectives" and Hazardous and Designated
Levels for Chemical Constituents, prepared by Jon
B.
