The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for CALIFORNIA CONCENTRATE CO as of May28, 2020. <br /> Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION Observed oily liquid on the floor immediately adjacent to the secondary containment platform in <br /> the hazardous materials storage area that was not cleaned up. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the oily liquid. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code <br /> of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #303 - Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION In the hazardous materials storage area, observed oily liquid inside the secondary containment <br /> platform. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the secondary containment platform into proper working order by cleanup, repair, <br /> replacement or testing. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department within 30 days. <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br />
