ec-11-96 12c07P CCPC Personnel Dept 209 464-6812 P_01 U POSITION SUMMARY �/ U Title: Status: Job Class: Date: Safety and Security Inspector Exempt 17950 08/14/95 Reports to: Department: Safety Coordinator Safety & Security SUMMARY Supervise firewatch guards and security wards; inspect and investigate all areas of the Company for safety and environmental hazards and security deficiencies; prepare reports and recommendations for corrective action. MAJOR DUTIES 1. Supervise activities of firewatch guards and Security guards; assist supervisor in selecting, training and appraising firewatch guards. 2. Inspect all areas of the Company; identify safety, environmental and fire hazards that could cause injury to persons or damage to property. 3. Complete inspection reports, and communicate any deficiencies. 4. Investigate all industrial injuries and accidents in cooperation with various department supervisors. 5. Monitor parlOrg lots and factory compound for parking violations, and send reports to the Personnel Department. 6. In conjunctiotri with the Risk Manager, monitor the enforcement of company safety and environmental regulations wit It outside contractors. 7. Conduct traiaing in the use of personal protective equipment. 8. Perform safetyand environmental orientations for employees.
