The generator of >1000kg/mo, who does not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the <br /> owner or operator of the facility within 35 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter shall contact the <br /> transporter and/or the owner or operator of the facility to determine the status of the waste. If the generator did not receive <br /> a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste <br /> was submitted within 60 days (45 days for generators >1000 kg/mo) from the date that the hazardous waste was accepted <br /> by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit to DTSC a legible copy of the manifest, with some indication that the <br /> generator has not received confirmation of delivery. Failed to store Universal Waste(UW) lamps in a closed container and in a manner that prevents breakage and release to <br /> the environment 66273.33(b) CCR: <br /> At time of inspection, several lamps, including eight 4-ft lamps, three 6-ft lamps,five U-shaped lamps and two 2-ft lamps <br /> were seen in a plastic garbage can and 5 gallon bucket <br /> Immediately, store all universal waste lamps pursuant to 66273.33(b) CCR for future storage. <br /> 83. Failed to label UW to identify type of UW 66273.34 CCR. <br /> At time of inspection waste lamps were not labeled pursuant to regulations. <br /> Immediately begin to label all universal waste pursuant to 66273.34 CCR. <br /> 84. (a) Stored UW on site for more than 1 year, or (b) was unable to demonstrate the length of time the UW has been <br /> accumulated from the date it became a waste or was received 66273.35 CCR. <br /> At time of inspection, UW batteries are being accepted by the public in a orange home depot container. The batteries are <br /> then shipped to RBRC.
