NARRATIVE <br /> Painting Operations uses many different products to paint the various <br /> schools within the Stockton Unified School District. Employees of the <br /> Painting Operations department purchase the paint in five gallon buckets. <br /> It is common for multiple buckets of paint to be stored in a designated <br /> area at Facility Services' yard following painting projects. The prolonged <br /> storage and improper storage and handling (i.e. rainwater contamination, <br /> evaporation) of surplus latex paint produce either retrograde material or <br /> waste.
