The training program does not cover all the necessary information for handling <br /> and managing the hazardous waste at the facility. The generator must ensure that all employees who handle <br /> hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures. Immediately provide <br /> training to all employees who handle hazardous waste and submit a copy of the training records to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 109 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for the last three years were not found on site. <br /> Thirteen manifests were listed on the DTSC Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS)from September 2013 <br /> through July 2015. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility <br /> and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available <br /> for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and <br /> submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.42 Failed to comply with uniform hazardous waste manifest exception requirements. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for the last three years were not found on site. <br /> Thirteen manifests were listed on the DTSC Hazardous Waste Tracking System (HWTS)from September 2013 <br /> through July 2015. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests for three years or until a copy <br /> signed off by the destination facility is received. The signed off copy shall be retained and made readily available for <br /> review for three years. If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the <br /> owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 days of the date the waste <br /> was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy of the missing manifest, with some <br /> indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery.
