Two 55 gallon metal drums of waste absorbent located in the repair shop and one 55 gallon of <br />waste absorbent located in the setup equipment shop all were missing its start accumulation date. All <br />hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, <br />3. hazardous properties (toxic, reactive, flammable, corrosive) <br />4. physical state (solid or liquid), 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. <br />- Corrected on-site. Store Mgr marked date based on last disposal receipt. <br />605. One 500 gallon black poly tote of used oil located outside of the repair shop had a "Hazardous <br />Waste" label that had illegible handwriting that was faded from the weather elements. All hazardous <br />waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, <br />3. hazardous properties (toxic, reactive, flammable, corrosive) <br />4. physical state (solid or liquid), 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. Submit a written corrective action statement how this was corrected and how to <br />ensure the writings on the label is legible and protected from the weather elements. <br />Submit to SJC EHD within 30 days (04/28/14): <br />1. one copy of the completed "Return to Compliance Certification" form <br />2. a written corrective action statement for each of the above violations <br />Notes: - CERS ID 10182443 needs to be updated with new business owners <br />- Exide services & provides disposal receipts for spent batteries <br />- Universal waste fluorescent tubes located in parts department <br />- From Jan -March 2014, facility generated apprx 710 gal (2.84 Tons) of used oil & 0.6 Tons of waste <br />absorbent = 3.44 Tons of hazardous waste <br />- From Sept - Dec 2013, facility generated apprx 135 gal (0.54 Tons) of used oil & 1.05 Tons of waste <br />absorbent = 1.59 Tons of hazardous waste <br />- Change of business owners from Mid -Cal Tractor to Belkorp Ag LLC in August 2013. Corporate site in <br />Modesto. Other locations newly change of ownership: Patterson, Merced, Walnut Grove, Santa Rosa, <br />Ukiah, Calistoga.
