In the first shop area: -One white 5 gallon plastic bucket labeled as a metal shavings waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous properties. This was corrected on site during the inspection. -One black 5 gallon metal container was observed with a hazardous waste label with illegible contents, illegible name and address of the generator, and had an accumulation start date of 1-1-2017. -One black 5 gallon metal container labeled as a diesel particulate was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the physical state and the hazardous properties. -One white 3.5 gallon plastic container labeled as a metal shavings waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous properties and had an 8-18-2017 accumulation start date. -One white 3.5 gallon plastic container labeled as a metal shavings/cutting oil waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous properties and had an accumulation start date of 8-8-2017. -One white 3.5 gallon plastic container labeled as a metal shavings waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the accumulation start date. -One white 3.5 gallon plastic container labeled as a metal shavings waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous properties and had an accumulation start date of 2-27-2018. -One black 5 gallon plastic container labeled as a metal shavings waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous properties and had an accumulation start date of 9-12-2016. In the second shop area: -One blue 200 gallon used antifreeze cart was observed with an illegible hazarouds waste label (except for the accumulation start date). -One white 5 gallon plastic container labeled as a metal shavings waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous properties. This was corrected on site during the inspection. -Two black 55 gallon steel drums containing oily absorbent(3/4 full)were observed with hazardous waste labels missing the accumulation start date and the hazardous properties. -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used metal/paper oil filters was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the accumulation start date. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: -the words"Hazardous Waste" -name and address of generator -hazardous properties -physical state -composition (contents) -accumulation start date Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. This is a repeat violation, Class Il. Overall Inspection Comments: An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the complete report which replaces the initial checklist.
