(continued) Immediately prepare and implement a complete hazardous waste management training <br />program for this facility in accordance with Title 22 regulations and ensure that all employees complete <br />this training at least annually. Submit a copy of the training program and records the the EHD by July <br />29, 2011. <br />63. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for July through December 2009 were not found on site. <br />Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all <br />receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily <br />available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, <br />maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by July 29, 2011. <br />84. Facility was unable to demonstrate the amount of time alkaline batteries were stored on site. A <br />universal waste generator shall accumulate universal waste for no longer than one year from the date <br />the waste was generated. Immediately dispose of this waste as universal waste and submit a copy of <br />the disposal record to the EHD by July 29, 2011. <br />85. Copies of universal waste disposal records were not found on site. A generator of universal waste <br />shall keep a record of each shipment of universal waste on site for at least three years. The record may <br />take the form of a log, invoice, manifest, bill of lading, or other shipping document, and shall include the <br />following: <br />- Name & address of destination facility <br />- Quantity & type of universal waste <br />- Date of departure/shipment <br />Begin this practice immediately. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by July 29, 2011 <br />along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br />violation and any supporting paperwork. <br />"Facility generated 15.03 tons of hazardous waste in 2010. The facility will be moved to a lower permit <br />category (5-25 tons/year).
