Report completed on July 1, 2011. Checklist left on site at <br />time of inspection. <br />Class II violations: (20, 27, 60, 61, 62) <br />20. A 5 gallon blue bucket of oily liquid was observed without a label. A 20 gallon orange & white steel <br />drum was observed under the oil crusher without a label. Two used oil totes were observed labeled <br />without a hazardous property or accumulation start date. A 55 gallon blue steel drum of oily rags / solids <br />was observed labeled without a hazardous property or accumulation start date. Three 55 gallon blue <br />poly drums of used antifreeze were observed labeled without the contents, physical state, or hazardous <br />property. A 3 gallon metal drum of oily liquid was observed without labeling. Two drums of sludge were <br />observed in the west yard without labeling. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the <br />following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. Since it cannot be determined how long the drums of sludge and oily rags / <br />solids have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this <br />waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by August 1, 2011. <br />REPEAT VIOLATION <br />27. A 5 gallon blue bucket of oily liquid was observed without a lid. A 20 gallon orange & white steel <br />drum was observed under the oil crusher without a lid. A 3 gallon metal drum of oily liquid was observed <br />without lid. Two drums of sludge were observed in the west yard without lids. All hazardous waste <br />containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
