Controls <br />The oven is controlled by a thermocouple in the main <br />chamber, operating an indicating pyrometer equipped <br />with two adjustable set points. The pyrometer high <br />setpoint operates the primary burner, maintaining <br />oven temperature for the full cycle -The low setpoint <br />operates the afterburner over smoke generation <br />temperature. <br />Over Temperature Suppression by water fog injection <br />is controlled by a separate temperature control for <br />epoxy and other self -oxidizing materials. <br />Installation <br />Each oven is shipped completely assembled, with bur- <br />ners, gas manifolds and all electrical manifolds com- <br />plete. Installation involves setting the oven, setting the <br />stack, and connecting utilities. <br />Construction <br />The oven is fabricated of hot rolled 12 -gauge steel, <br />welded to a steel framework of 3 inch channels All <br />steel work is finished with two coats of 400°F heat <br />resisting paint, inside and out <br />Al chamber walls are lined with high temperature <br />ceramic board or castable refractory. Refractory is <br />anchored to the steel framework with formed stain- <br />less steel anchors. <br />Hinged swing -out front doors are lined with 2300°F <br />ceramic board and are equipped with safety type <br />locking latches. Cart channels are embedded in the <br />refractory floor. No exterior rails are required <br />The self-supporting stack is constructed of hot rolled <br />12 -gauge steel, fully lined with a 2000°F castable <br />refractory. <br />Burners <br />Both gas burners are independently equipped with a <br />combustion air blower and spark ignition system with <br />transformer.
