Technical school, AWS Welding <br /> Certification is encouraged. <br /> Small Tools Mechanic <br /> • Maintains, services and repairs small construction tools, including: <br /> compressors, generators, changeable message boards, cut-off saws, etc., <br /> uses a variety of power tools and hand tools and operates equipment as <br /> necessary. <br /> • High School diploma preferred. Technical training preferred. <br /> • Valid California Driver's License; company forklift certification, welding <br /> certification preferred. <br /> • 3-5 years prior small tools/engine mechanics experience preferred. <br /> • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and schematics; Good <br /> mechanical aptitude; Good manual dexterity; Basic math skills; Good <br /> problem-solving skills; Good task organization and time management. <br /> Low Bed Truck Driver <br /> • Drives a low bed truck to transfer heavy equipment, such as dozers, <br /> compactors, loaders, blades, and paving machines, from construction site <br /> to construction site. This includes loading and unloading the equipment, <br /> securing the equipment on the truck and transporting it to and from point <br /> of origin to the destination jobsite. <br /> • Education/training none required. <br /> • Class A (Commercial) Driver's license; Double (S/B Class A) or Triple <br /> endorsements (Hazmat Endorsement); Valid Medical Card; prefer <br /> Teamsters Union, Forklift certification. <br /> • Prior truck driving experience preferred. <br /> • Good manual dexterity; good agility; good communication skills; basic <br /> mechanic skills, general construction knowledge; good visual perception <br /> skills. <br />
