Click on the desired position for a detailed Job Function Analysis <br />Short Summary: <br />Superintendent: <br />• Responsible for safety and welfare of all employees assigned <br />• Conducts periodic inspections of work areas <br />• Identifies, corrects and documents potential unsafe work practices <br />• Reviews injuries, accidents and incidents investigation reports <br />• Assists in developing and review pre -task safety plans and procedures <br />• Coaches and counsels foreman and employees in safe production <br />• Ensures new hires receive safety orientation <br />• Enforces the provision of the Injury Prevention and Safety Program <br />and the Zero Injury Culture <br />• Ensures that personnel are qualified and have the experience to safely <br />perform assigned duties <br />• High school diploma required, First Aid CPR encouraged. <br />Foreman <br />• Direct supervisor of all employees assigned <br />• Responsible for safety and welfare of all employees assigned <br />• Coaches and counsels employees on the importance of safe work <br />procedures <br />• Involved and enforces the provisions of the Injury Prevention and <br />Safety Program and the Zero Injury Culture <br />• Promotes near hit reporting <br />• Conducts daily inspections of the work areas. Identifies unsafe work <br />practices and initiates corrective actions <br />• Encourages employees to report unsafe conditions and practices <br />• Assists in the training and documentation of all safety training <br />• Assists in the investigation of injuries, accidents and incidents <br />• Reports incidents to the superintendent and safety specialist <br />• Instructs employees in the recognition and avoidance of potential <br />hazards <br />• Assists in the development of codes of safe practice and safety <br />procedures <br />• High school diploma required, First Aid CPR encouraged. <br />
