JOB TITLES AND DESCRIPTION Page 2 <br />Janitor <br />• Perform general cleanup around the facility. <br />• Be able to operate a forklift and a sweeper. <br />• Uses absorbent to absorb and remove grease and oil. Disposes of <br />material in appropriate manner <br />• Performs on-site inspections and informs the foreman of needed <br />corrective actions needed to be taken <br />• No specific educational requirements. Must be able to read and speak <br />English. <br />Lube Person <br />• Valid California Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with Hazardous <br />Materials and Tanker endorsements <br />• Responsible for their own safety and the safety of others around them <br />• Obeys all safety rules and regulations <br />• Drives safely and obeys all traffic and workplace rules and regulations <br />• Able to demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of a fuel and lube <br />vehicle. <br />• Performs documented pre and post shift vehicle inspections <br />• Use quick fill or regular fuel nozzles to fuel equipment with diesel fuel, <br />lubricates equipment within manufacturer recommendations and able to <br />detect potential safety and operational problems <br />• Able to plan day to safely and efficiently service all equipment located on <br />various company jobsites <br />• Performs oil changes on equipment and properly stores, transports and <br />disposes of used oil and used anti -freeze at designated facilities <br />• Able to perform minor repair on equipment <br />• Able to operate various off road equipment as well as able to move <br />equipment to position it for lube services <br />• High school diploma required. Prior truck driving and/or mechanic <br />experience helpful <br />Heavy Equipment Mechanic <br />• Responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment <br />• May be assigned to work in the shop, field or both depending on location <br />• Responsible for their own safety and the safety of others around them <br />• Obeys all safety rules and regulations <br />• Communicates with foreman, site personnel, vendors and other service <br />representatives when troubleshooting and repair equipment <br />
