CPR and First Aid encouraged. Additional <br />technical school training or college helpful. Must have good mechanical <br />aptitude and good communication skills <br />Truck Mechanic (Operating Engineer/Machinist) <br />• Valid California driver's license, Class B for some vehicles and Class C for <br />others <br />• Conducts safety inspections on vehicles under 26,000 pounds and DOT <br />compliance documented inspections for vehicles 26,001 pounds and over <br />• Diagnoses and troubleshoots to determine extent of repairs needed as <br />well as performs repairs on off highway vehicles <br />• Uses hand and power tools as well as hydraulic jacks and vehicle or shop <br />cranes to perform minor and major repairs on off highway vehicles <br />• Performs preventive maintenance on various off highway vehicles <br />• Enters daily time via computer workorder system to process time and <br />document repairs on equipment <br />• Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment at the shop as well as <br />field sites <br />• High school or GED required. CPR and First Aid encouraged. Additional <br />technical school, manufacturer's training or college helpful. Must have <br />good mechanical aptitude and good communication skills <br />Parts Person <br />Responsible for ordering all parts, tools and supplies for the Mobile <br />Equipment fleet <br />Organizes and manages the inventory of all parts and supplies <br />
