The facility will be moved to a lower permit <br />category (5-25 tons/year). This may result in decreased permit fees. <br />Notes: (corrected on site) <br />- A 5 gallon bucket and a 20 gallon drum of oily skimmer waste were observed open and unlabeled. The <br />used oil tank was observed unlabeled. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the <br />following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. The <br />skimmer waste was emptied into the used oil tank and the used oil tank was labeled at the time of <br />inspection. <br />- Two 55 gallon oil containers were observed labeled empty with no start date. Containers larger than <br />five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked as empty with the date they were <br />emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. The start dates were marked at the time of <br />inspection. <br />- Used fluorescent bulbs were observed stored open and uncontainerized in the storage room. <br />Universal waste lamps shall be contained in a closed container or package that is structurally sound, <br />adequate to prevent breakage, and compatible with the contents of the lamp. A generator shall label or <br />mark universal waste with the words 'Universal Waste' and the type of waste (alkaline batteries, mercury <br />containing equipment, fluorescent bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs, aerosol cans).
