The tank assessment on site for the two <br /> tanks was dated June 30, 2010. The owner or operator of a hazardous waste tank shall obtain a written assessment <br /> reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California attesting that the <br /> system has sufficient structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring, storing, and treating of hazardous waste, <br /> and that the tanks and containment system are suitably designed. Immediately have an registered engineer re certify <br /> the assessment for the used antifreeze and waste oil tanks. Submit a schedule showing when this will be <br /> accomplished to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class I violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a) Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> A white 300 gallon container of used antifreeze down stairs in the Quick Lube Shop on the east side was stored on <br /> site longer than 90 days. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste <br /> on site up to 90 days.
