Simpson Strong-Tie m
EAP-FPP Program
EVACUATION PROCEDURES
In the event an evacuation is necessary, the following procedures have been developed to
ensure safe egress of personnel .
1) THE EMERGENCY SITUATION COORDINATOR IS:
Dave Olney/Tony Cervantez
This person is responsible for:
- ordering an evacuation,
- coordinating information regarding the emergency,
- collecting the head count, and reporting to arriving emergency personnel.
The Emergency Situation Coordinator will also meet with the initial emergency reporting
person to fill out the appropriate paperwork.
2) EXITS: (see maps)
Personnel will exit via the nearest available safe exit. Once outside, personnel
will immediately go to their assigned assembly area.
3) ASSEMBLY AREAS:
All Personnel will meet at front of building in parking areas, regardless of how they exit
the building. Employees that need to use exits to the North, South or West of their
building in order to exit safely must make their way to the designated assembly area as
quickly as safely possible.
No one should leave the meeting place. If you must go, notify your team leader. He /she
will determine if it is permitted for you to leave.
4) EVACUATION TEAM:
The evacuation team is responsible for ensuring the safe evacuation of all personnel.
This includes clearing the aisles, hallways, and other areas of personnel, customers,
and visitors. The team leader is also responsible for closing all doors and windows.
Each Team Leader is responsible for a safe evacuation and head count of their
respective areas.
Once at the meeting site, each team leader will verify the head count and report it to
the Emergency Situation Coordinator. Any missing individual will be identified, and their
last known location will be given to emrgency response units. g'
NO ONE IS ALLOWED BACK INTO THE BUILDING UNTIL IT IS DECLARED S
TO ENTER BY THE EMERGENCY SITUATION COORDINATOR.
David Olney 18
Rev: 9/17/15 `
