Employees shall complete training appropriate to their level of responsibility <br />prior to their assignment to an unsupervised position handling hazardous <br />waste. Training shall be completed within six months after the employee's <br />date of hire or reassignment [pursuant to 22 CCR §66264.16(b)]. <br />H. Training Content <br />Employee training will include the following elements: <br />A. Employees shall receive training in: <br />1. The requirement to immediately report a release or threatened release. <br />2. Content of the hazardous materials business plan. <br />3. Emergency response procedures. <br />4. Evacuation procedures and routes. <br />5. The identity and hazards of chemicals used.. <br />B. Designated employees and ERT members shall also be trained in: <br />1. Procedures for using, inspecting, repairing, and replacing facility <br />emergency and monitoring equipment. <br />
