The SMARTFLEX <br />mechanical compression fittings ar7FIL listed but not ULC listed. <br />Pipe accessories <br />The entry boots for pipe (model SEB) assure a positive seal in sumps without <br />any metallic components being exposed to the environment outside of the <br />sumps. They are available in size from 25 mm (3/4") to 125 mm (5"). <br />Entry/terminating boots for 90 mm (3") and 110 mm (4") double wall sys- <br />tems are also available. <br />Tools and Equipment <br />Multi -function Welding Unit <br />The SMARTFLEX multi -function welding unit (model SSEL8403) features a <br />proprietary operating system designed to make the installer's task as easy <br />and safe as possible (the voltage at the fittings is less then 40 Volts for any <br />item). <br />The welding unit comes complete with transformer and bar code reader. <br />A user-friendly menu guides the user through the two possible operating <br />modes: <br />Welding Mode <br />The electro -welding capabilities are enabled and the unit can be used to <br />install the SMARTFLEX eletrofusion fittings. <br />Pressure Test Mode <br />The built-in recorder is enabled and the unit can be used to carry out pres- <br />sure tests or retrieve pressure test data stored into the Multi -Function Weld- <br />ing Unit memory. <br />The welding and pressure data are stored in the internal memory of the <br />machine and, through a serial port, summary reports can be immediately <br />printed out while more extensive data handling can be carried out through <br />the use of the SMARTFLEX Application Software <br />Tools <br />The SMARTFLEX system includes a wide range of tools and equipment such <br />as <br />• SUS - Universal Scraper <br />• SRAMN - Manual Scraper <br />• SCUTDW - Double Wall Pipe Cutter and Templates <br />• SALL - Pipe Aligner <br />• SMARK -White Marker <br />• SLRDW, SUSLR and SLRCUT - Spare blades set <br />• SPLIDW -Double Wall Pliers <br />Pipe uncoiler <br />The revolving pipe uncoiler (model SSVOL) has been specially designed to <br />ease the handling and installation of SMARTFLEX pipe in coils. <br />The pipe uncoiler is made of steel with adjustable restraints and can be eas- <br />ily disassembled and folded away allowing maximum portability. <br />The revolving pipe uncoiler can be used for 50 mm (1 1/2"), 63 mm (2") and <br />90 mm (3") SMARTFLEX pipe. <br />I�I�LX4 19 <br />
