Encore Island Adapter Kit Installation <br />When cutting the pit box, fuel or explosive vapors may be present. Cap and seal all <br />piping where fuel may be present before modifying the pit box. DO NOT use a power <br />tool or any tool that will generate any type of spark. Use a safe and non -sparking <br />cutting method. Wear eye protection when cutting the pit box. <br />8 Using an appropriate cutting tool and a safe and non -sparking cutting method, remove the lip <br />of the pit box as previously marked. This will allow the adapter kit to rest flush on the island <br />and on the pit box. <br />9 Place the island adapter over the pit box (Figure 2) to ensure proper fit, clearance and <br />alignment. Then remove the adapter. <br />10 Using 3M 2084 sealant, apply liberally along the entire flat surface of the perimeter of the pit <br />box (Figure 2.)
