(AGE)has prepared this Soil Sample Analysis
Report for the property at 1225 West Lockeford Street, Lodi, California. The work was performed
as part of a dispenser and fuel piping upgrade at the site.
DRILLING AND SAMPLE COLLECTION
On 25 March 2004, seven soil samples (DSP-1 through DSP-4, PL-5 & PL-6, and STK-7) were
collected at the site as required by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)
while performing the dispenser pan and fuel piping upgrade at the site. The field work was
conducted under the direct supervision of Mr. Dennis Catanyag of the SJCEHD. Fuel system
upgrade work was performed by Wendt Construction of Lodi, California.
Soil samples,DSP-1 through DSP-4 were collected from beneath each dispenser at a depth of 4 feet
below surface grade(bsg);PL-5 &PL-6 were collected from the mid-point of the fuel piping being
replaced at a depth of 4 feet bsg; and STK-7 was collected from the soil stockpile on site. Based
upon field conditions, the SJCEHD directed the collection of soil samples PL-5, PL-6 and STK-7;
these samples were not part of the original scope of work. The length of fuel piping being replaced
and the volume of stockpiled soil justified the collection of the additional samples to comply with
SJCEHD guidelines for dispenser and fuel piping upgrades.
Soil sample collection depths were excavated utilizing a Bobcat digger. Once the appropriate depth
was achieved,as agreed upon by AGE and the SJCEHD,the samples were collected by hand packing
6-inch brass sleeves from the Bobcat bucket. After collection, the ends of the brass sleeves were
covered with Teflon sheets, capped and sealed with tape. The sleeves were labeled with soil sample
number, time, date and sampler's initials and then placed in a chilled container.
837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215
Telephone(209) 467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118
