The plan <br />• policies for monitoring frequency, monitoring equipment,. report/ <br />recordkeeping, testing, and a leak response plan. This plan sball be kept on file for <br />viewing by regulatory agencies. Additionally, monitoring records. must be maintained <br />• 3 years. <br />2.0 DESCRIPTION • ITEMS BEING MONITORED - <br />The following underground storage tanks (USTs) are present at the aci ty: <br />1 - 10,000 Gallon - Regular Unleaded Gasoline <br />1 - 10,000 Gallon - Plus Unleaded Gasoline <br />1 - 10,000 Gallon - Super Unleaded Gasoline <br />The tanks are double -walled and constructed • fiberglass with a monitoring system <br />for the secondary containment. The pipe lines are single -walled, constructed of <br />fiberglass, and have a containment trench (fibertrench). <br />3.0 MONITORING OF USTs <br />3.1 <br />• EQUIPMENT <br />The station uses the EMCO Wheaton Leak Sensor 11 for monitoring the USTs. The <br />product pipes are monitored by the Liquid Sensor leak detection system. <br />The EMCO Wheaton Leak Sensor 11 monitors the interstitial (annular) space in the <br />containment area. Probes are permanently mounted through risers in each tank and <br />are placed in the lowest elevation • the tanks. These probes are tested annually and <br />• to • properly. <br />The secondary containment for each double -walled LIST is equipped with a collection <br />system to accumulate; temporarily store; and permit removal of precipitation, <br />2869R046.wPb 1 <br />
