Box 1601, Oxnard, CA 93032
Tank Facility Description
Three underground storage tanks, one of 10,000 gallon, one 7,500
gallon, and one 5,000 capacity. All tanks are 1/4" single walled
carbon steel with 2" galvanized product piping. Storage does not
have secondary containment or cathodic protection at present.
The current and past materials stored are motor fuel gasolines.
There have been no unauthorized product releases detected in the
past. Product piping from the storage tanks is pressurized and
is equipped with in-line leak detectors. An existing waste oil
tank is 280 gallons. This tank is to be removed. Preventive
maintenance is scheduled for the existing underground tanks and
product piping by replacing the present galvanized piping with
new 2" fiberglass. The storage tanks are to be relined with an
approved epoxy fiberglass lining prior to installing monitoring
equipment.
Pr222sed Monitoring System
1.
