The discovered tank
approximately 1 0,000 -gallon capacity of single-wall steel construction,
Due to the proximity of the newly discovered fuel tanks to the building foundation, I
recommend the tanks be abandoned in place and filled with a slurry mixture. A permit for
abandonment is required. The permit fee is $200 for each tank, which can be obtained
from the Fire Prevention Division, 345 North El Dorado Street.
