• <br />• <br />• • <br />Watertight FRP Turbine Enclosure (WTE) <br />Suitable for moderately high groundwater <br />The Watertight FRP Turbine Enclosure includes an FRP enclosure body (variable length <br />in 12" increments, 42" or 48" ID), an FRP reducer (42" 30" or 48" 30" ID's) with o -ring <br />groove and o -ring gasket, and a push on FRP lid (32.5" OD) with 2 handles. The <br />enclosure body is field cemented to the tank collar and the reducer is field cemented <br />to the enclosure body using the supplied adhesive kits (Kit AD, 2 kits required). The <br />reducer/enclosure body joint is on the exterior of the enclosure body allowing easy field <br />installation of the adhesive without entering the enclosure. <br />The lid compresses the lubricated o -ring when it is <br />pushed onto the reducer top providing a watertight <br />seal with water up to 12" over the lid. The lid can <br />be pushed into position by standing on the lid which <br />is made with a non-skid exterior surface. The lid <br />includes two handles. One is offset to aid in the <br />removal of the lid and the other is centered on the <br />lid. The 30" opening allows for the removal of a <br />22" manway lid (28" OD). The enclosure must be <br />vented at all times (usually accomplished with the <br />double wall piping). <br />Sealed FRP Turbine Enclosure (STE) <br />Suitable for extremely high <br />groundwater conditions <br />The Sealed FRP Turbine Enclosure includes an FRP <br />enclosure body (variable length in 12" increments, <br />42" or 48" ID's), an FRP reducer (42" or 48" ID's) <br />with an oval flanged manway (23" 29" ID's), a flat <br />gasket, SS bolts with non -galling silicone -bronze <br />nuts (optional bolt rings can be supplied to replace <br />the bolts), and an oval FRP lid with handle. The lid can be supplied with an optional 6" NPT fitting with plug <br />which can be used as an observation port. The oval manway allows for the removal <br />of a 22" manway lid (28" OD). The enclosure must be vented at all times (usually <br />accomplished with the double wall piping). <br />
