11
11
111.7. CHANNEL RELAY (Optional Item)
In addition to the master relay, each channel is equipped with an alarm signal for
driving an optional relay. Connection of this alarm signal is a male quick connector
located next to the 15th contact of the edgecard connector. The output voltage
swings between zero (no alarm) to 2 volt approximately, when either liquid or vapor
sensor triggers the alarm. Contact the factory for optional channel relay module.
The Leak Alert system provides analog output option for any vapor sensing channel.
When this option is elected, the gas sensing channel will be equipped with an analog
module chip which will convert the gas concentration into current or voltage output.
The baseline signal and the sensitivity can be adjusted respectively with the ZERO
and SPAN trimpots.
Two male quick connectors are provided below each of the channel PC cards (marked
+ and -) analog output connection.
111.9. 115VAC POWER INPUT WIRING
The Leak Alert system operates with standard single phase 115VAC 60 Hz power.
The power wiring is facilitated with three terminal block contacts marked 115VAC,
115VAC, and GN D on the base plate. Connect the 115VAC hot and neutral wires to
either of the 115VAC terminals, and the ground wire to the GND terminal. A 0.5
amp midget fuse is provided for short circuit protection.
Z1e
