(GR) has prepared this letter on the behalf of ConocoPhillips (76) to
inform your office of a change in the scope of work for the above referenced site.
Due to conditions encountered in the field Gettler-Ryan Inc. altered the proposed scope of
work to include the following tasks:
• Direct bury fill port was exposed and visually examined for leaks. Former remote
fill port located on fill riser was determined to be source of leak previously
reported during annual tank integrity testing.
• Fill riser was replaced with a new fill riser and wrapped with new corrosion
protective tape.
• Overfill protection was also replaced with OPW 1-2100 5 -gallon spill container.
• Fill port was backfilled and surface treatment replaced with new concrete.
Observations made during repair activities indicate that the former remote fill was
properly abandoned and associated piping was removed. These observations are
consistent with the abandonment report currently on file with the San Joaquin Health
Department. Another tank integrity test will be performed at a later date by Tankology
Inc. (schedule to be determined.) Gettler-Ryan Inc. does not propose any additional work
at this time.
If you have any questions regarding the Scope of Work please contact Gettler-Ryan Inc.
at (707) 789-3255 ext. 18.
Sincerely,
4Gettl
Janzen
er-Ryan In .
1364 North McDowell Blvd., Suite B2 0 Petaluma, California 94954-1116 • (707) 789-3255
