The permit has been <br /> approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the City of Tracy fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution <br /> Control District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Thuy Tran at (209) 468-8257 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Have a representative from the City of Tracy Fire Department on site <br /> b. Verify existing gasoline vent piping is completely removed <br /> c. Witness soil sampling 2 feet into native material beneath the existing vent piping at <br /> every twenty feet length and at every joint, if necessary <br /> d. Verify that all residual liquids, solids, or sludges shall be removed and handled as <br /> hazardous waste <br /> e. Verify that waste oil tank vent piping is undisturbed <br /> 4. If the removed backfill material and soil is found to be contaminated it must be disposed <br /> of at an approved disposal location. Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed <br /> under a hazardous waste treatment permit. Work plan and fee must be submitted to <br /> EHD Site Mitigation Unit and work plan must be approved before initiating any <br /> assessment or remediation activities. <br /> 5. Inert existing vent piping with dry ice prior to disconnection from the UST system. Be <br /> aware additional testing/monitoring to ensure tanks and piping remain inerted may be <br /> required by Tracy Fire Department <br /> 6. A copy of the submitted "Health and Safety Plan" must be on the jobsite for review. <br />
