CNI Manufacture stallation, Operation and Maintenan Manual (IOM) <br />Applicable to Executive Order VR -104-D <br />Summary of Guidelines for Reguired Maintenance Activities 2 <br />Component <br />Interval <br />Maintenance to Perform <br />CNI Mfg. Spill Containers <br />Annually <br />1. Clean the interior of the containers. <br />Vapor: <br />2. Remove any accumulated dirt and grit. <br />2 point EVR system: <br />CON1 and CON2 <br />Stand Alone/Direct Bury: <br />205 and 214 <br />Drop Tube <br />Annually <br />1. Perform ARB test TP201.1 C. If the drop tube fails to meet <br />CNI Mfg. DT100 <br />the test requirements, replace the O-ring with a new one. <br />Then re -test. <br />2. Inspect the drop tube to see if it is installed correctly. <br />Check to ensure the highest point of the discharge opening <br />of the drop tube is no more than 6 inches from the bottom of <br />the tank. If the fillpipe has been removed for any reason, <br />re -check to ensure that the discharge opening of the fillpipe <br />is entirely submerged when the liquid level is six inches <br />above the bottom of the tank. <br />NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE the drop tube unless it fails <br />TP201.1C. Use only CNI Mfg. O-ring P/N RP101 for <br />replacement O-ring. <br />Drop Tube Overfill <br />Annually_ <br />1. Look down the drop tube opening and see if the flapper in <br />Prevention Device <br />the drop tube is open. <br />EMCO Wheaton Retail <br />2. Check to ensure the highest point of the discharge opening <br />A1100EVR Guardian Overfill <br />of the drop tube is no more than 6 inches from the bottom of <br />Prevention Valve <br />the tank. If the fillpipe has-been removed for any reason, <br />re -check to ensure that the discharge opening of the fillpipe <br />is entirely submerged when the liquid level is six inches <br />above the bottom of the tank. <br />3. Perform ARB test TP201.1 D. If the drop tube fails to meet <br />the test requirements, replace the O-ring with a new one. <br />Then re -test. <br />4. If the drain valve fails the test requirements, refer to the <br />drain valve maintenance instructions in this table. <br />5. If the drop tube fails to meet the test requirements, replace <br />the drop tube with a new one. Then re -test. <br />NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE the drop tube unless it fails <br />TP201.1 D. Use only the EMCO Wheaton O-ring P/N 569461 <br />for replacement O-ring. <br />` These maintenance requirements shall not circumvent use of the manufacturer's maintenance instruction. <br />Maintenance contractors or owner/operators shall refer to the complete Installation and Maintenance Instructions <br />found within this document for each manufacturer's component. Ensure that all maintenance and torque <br />requirements are met.
