A notice to that was immediately issued on 8-8-08 stating to obtain an approval from this office for the alteration prior to proceeding to date. An alteration has not been submitted for an approval and to immediately submit or obtain a permit for the alteration. " I am told that we have 30 days to correct this violation. As per our conversation that same day (8/8/09) , I had made it clear that we are in the process of designing an AST system and that we needed to get an ordinance change with the City of Manteca, which will take approximately ninety (90) days. Once the new ordinance is in place, we will be submitting for permit to OSHPD and approval by the local Fire Marshall for the construction of the new AST and we will be submitting for permit with SJCEHD for either a Tank Closure In place or Tank Removal. The construction start date is targeted for February 2010 with the completion date of June 2010. When construction is complete, we will have eliminated violation #15. Due to the nature of the ordinance Change with the City of Manteca, I am requesting a grace period of one hundred twenty (120) days from todays date to submit for permit to SJCEHD for either a tank closure or repair of existing conditions pertaining to violation #15. Depending on what the order is made by the City Council will determine what direction we will take concerning the UST.
