Deane@nsmtp.kp.org; russell.a.langley@kp.org; dana.feiock@kp.org; <br />Sam.Corbin@nsmtp.kp.org; Terrell.F.Estes@nsmtp.kp.org; bmccuaig@petro-analytical.com; Muniappa Naidu [EH] <br />Cc: tonia.j.shaw@kp.org; fred.j.just@kp.org <br />Subject: August 16th UST testing- Kaiser Permanente Manteca hospital <br />Good Morning <br />Currently, Kaiser Permanente Manteca Hospital emergency generator number 2 is at Holt Brothers of California for service. <br />Representatives from Holt have advised that unforeseen issues with the generator have been discovered since its disassembly <br />(for previously approved service). <br />The required repair duration of these new issues will not allow for the generator to be fully repaired and delivered back to the <br />Manteca Hospital on the previously agreed upon date of 8.13.12 which in turn, will not allow the generator to be in place for the <br />scheduled 8.16.12 Underground Storage Tank (UST) testing. <br />During discussion between Jay Betz and Muniappa Naidu on 8.6.12, Mr. Naidu advised that he conferred with his supervision and <br />the scheduled testing on 8.16.12 that will consist of: UST monitoring certification, spill bucket testing, precision line testing, and <br />the SB989 testing needs to be completed on the agreed upon date of 8.16.12 without the generator in place. <br />Mr. Naidu further advised that a line test should be scheduled following the installation of the generator. <br />Per San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department protocol, Mr. Naidu will be notified via fax, at least 48 hours in <br />advance of the (to be determined) line testing once a date is chosen.
