VICTOR ROAD <br />LODI, CA 95240 <br />U <br />Motor Fuel Storage and Sales Emergency Response Plan <br />In the event of a spill of any sort at this site involving motor <br />vehicle fuels it will be addressed as follows: <br />I. The City of Lodi Fire Department will be called at 911. <br />II. If any personal injuries involved, paramedics will be <br />called at 911. <br />III. If spill due to a break in any part of the storage or <br />dispensing system immediate steps shall be taken to shut <br />off the flow by shutting off the emergency pump shut off <br />switch first and then other such action that would be <br />required to stop the flow. <br />IV. Public access to the area involved to be restricted via <br />setting up barricades, safety tape, flagging, etc., <br />around the entire perimeter of the area, to keep the <br />public at a safe distance from the site. <br />V. If the spill involves a breach in the inner tank wall or <br />any product piping downstream from the tank, the San <br />Joaquin County Public Health Services to be notified. <br />(number below) <br />VI. An immediate cleanup action shall be enacted as follows: <br />(a) for fuels spilled on surface, cleanup via use of <br />hydrocarbon absorbent pads that are stored on site. <br />The saturated absorbent pads to be placed in a 55 gal- <br />lon DOT open top steel drum with a lid on it and <br />properly labelled for hazardous waste. This waste to <br />then be transported and disposed of by a licensed <br />hazardous waste hauler. <br />(b) If the inner tank wall is breached, the special <br />colored monitoring fluid would be mixed with the motor <br />fuel. In this event both fuel supplier and liquid <br />hazardous waste transported to be called and a <br />determination of how to best be handled to then be <br />made. <br />VII. The following emergency response and cleanup material to <br />be kept available in the storeroom of the store at all <br />times. Mr. Dave Knox the store manager shall be responsi- <br />ble to see that this inventory of material is maintained, <br />properly marked, labelled, stored and made accessible <br />at all times: <br />
