2.02 Accessories <br />A. Anchor Straps --Provide <br />glass fiber -reinforced <br />plastic anchor straps for <br />each tank shown, Number <br />and location of straps shall <br />be as specified by manu- <br />facturer. Each strap shall <br />be capable of withstanding <br />the buoyancy load for tank <br />diameter as shown. <br />4'0-- 4,200 lbs. <br />6,o--,18'7000 lbs. <br />8'0--25.000 lbs. <br />1010--32,000'lbs. <br />Straps shall be standard <br />as supplied by the tank <br />manufacturer. <br />B. Certification Plate --- <br />Underwriters Laboratory <br />label shall be permanently <br />affixed to each tank. <br />C. Flanged Manways <br />1, The standard manway is <br />22" 10. The 30" and 36" ID <br />manways are optional. One <br />22" manway is provided <br />with each tank. <br />2. All manways will be furnished <br />complete with U.L. listed <br />gaskets, bolts and covers. <br />3. Location --see standard <br />tank drawings. <br />4. For tanks 1000 gallon <br />capacity or less, the steel <br />manway cover shall have <br />four 4" NPT steel fittings. <br />For tanks of 2,500 gallon, <br />(61 diameter) and 6,000 <br />gallon, (8' diameter) <br />capacity, the steel man - <br />way cover shall have five <br />4" NPT steel fittings welded <br />in place. All other kinds will <br />have the three 4" fittings <br />�d <br />welded in place. The 22' <br />manway cover fittings a <br />on an 8" radius from the <br />center of the cover to the <br />center line of the fitting, <br />The 30" manway cover fit- <br />tings are on a 12" radius; <br />the 36f1 manway cover fit- <br />tings are on a 15" radius. <br />5. Manway risers 48" in dia- <br />meter and 42" high will be <br />supplied to proved access <br />to the manway lid. A 24" x 24" <br />galvanized street box with <br />a cover must be provided <br />by contractor for at grade <br />installation. <br />6. Fiberglass manway exten- <br />sion tubes 24" long will <br />provide the manways as <br />outlined in Section 3 above, <br />D.
