lil <br />E� <br />All calls for Maintenance to Chevron U.S.A., Inc. service stations <br />(both Company owned/operated and Company owned/leased to Dealer) come <br />into Central Maintenance Dispatch in San Ramon, California via 800) <br />423-3528. This includes calls to rep6it spills, leaks, dispensers <br />damaged by cars or alarms triggered by leak detection equipment. <br />Five days per week, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., contractors, mechanics <br />and/or equipment is dispatched to the site by one of three Maintenance <br />Dispatchers. After hours the caller is referred to (415) 877-0244 for <br />emergency service. This number is our San Francisco Airport Tank Farm <br />which is manned 7 days a week, 24 hours a day by trained Chevron <br />employees. <br />Both of these locations work from a Computerized Maintenance Management <br />system which has a matrix within it that lists the Proprietary mechanic <br />and the contractors (by specialty) available to respond to an emergency <br />in a specific zone. <br />Hard copy binders of Contractor/Mechanic lists are kept at both <br />locations for backup in case the computer system is down. <br />Upon report of product in the annular space/secondary' containment" <br />Maintenance Dispatch will do the following: <br />If the caller is a dealer, immediate inquiry will be made regarding any <br />losses during recent inventory reconciliation. If the records are not <br />available to the caller, the Territory Manager will be contacted to <br />review records at the site. . <br />Dispatch will immediately contact a maintenance mechanic or contractor <br />to: <br />1) Verify there is liquid in the annular space; 2) determine if the <br />liquid is hydrocarbon or water. <br />a) If investigation verifies that there is product in the annular <br />space, Dispatch will immediately make arrangements to pump the <br />annular space dry. Pumping of product or water will only be <br />handled by a Maintenance Mechanic or Chevron Approved contractor, <br />product or water removed will be appropriately manifested, <br />transported by a licensed hauler, and disposed of at a Chevron <br />approved site licensed to accept the material. <br />b) The Mechanic or Contractor will attempt to determine if the <br />product has come from the primary tank or some other source. <br />5 <br />
