Wilson Way
Sacramento, CA 95838 Stockton, CA 95205
2122/2006
ON Site: 12 pm-Collected samples from vertical probe system-Tracer detected at probes 4, 5, 16 and 21
during initial round.Additional re-samples were collected from all probes with detection -Tracer
concentrations declined or were not detected in all but probe location 16. Samples were also collected from
tank secondary-Tracer was detected within the 87 tank secondary-Additional investigation and sampling
showed tracer at a higher level detected within the wiring junction box for the tank interstitial monitoring
probe. This indicates that a vapor pathway is available through tank gauge wire into common conduit-
allowing tracer into the tank interstitial. Sealant was added within junction box to eliminate pathway. To
confirm detections a second tracer was then introduced into both tanks. A return to site will occur after the 24
hour test duration. OFF SITE: 6:15 pm.
2/25/2006
ON SITE:8 am - Arrived site and sampled product at each dispenser to confirm tracer concentration
through-out system. Samples collected from all probes with previous detection showed detection of the new
tracer at Probe location 16 with an increase concentration of the original tracer.Additional samples were
collected from probes in immediate area of probe 16-three additional sample locations were installed and
sampled between the existing locations-Probe 27,28,29. Results indicate that a leak exists in the single
wall primary of the Vapor recovery line at or in close proximity of Probe 16-The Vapor Primary pipe has
failed testing. Samples collected from the 87 tank secondary had no detection of the new tracer and greatly
decrease residual concentrations of the original tracer-This confirms tracer migration from conduit system
and eliminated by repairs made during initial site visit.
RECOMMENDATION:
Expose and investigate Vapor Recovery pipe and joints in the immediate area of Probe 16.
Reviewed By: Mark D Caldon>
Signature: ' ,; /i"
3 of 3 38731 EL QA Retest MDC Report-Cert.xis
