04/18/2007 15:49 FAX 5306222301 SAVIDGE CONSTRUCTION 1@007 <br /> 7 <br /> The County Fire Department will be notified of site activites, and will be provided <br /> with the site health and safety plan. <br /> Whenever Possible, injured Personnel will be decontaminated and/or moved to the <br /> SUpport area as long as such Procedures do not further compromise the health and <br /> safety of the individual. <br /> On-site emergencies are expected to be restricted topotrntial fires re ss e mino <br /> po il r <br /> injuries to site personnel. On-site conditions are expected to be within theblimits of <br /> measures, which can be taken by site personnel. Any emergency that poses a <br /> potential threat to the public will be considered a situation requiring outside <br /> emergency response agencies. During any on-site emergency, work activities will <br /> cease until the emergency is brought under control. <br /> A copy of this health and safety plan will be available on site at all times, and the <br /> emergency route and the list of emergency contacts, Table 1, will be posted in a <br /> conspicuous location near the site telephones. <br /> 10.0 UNING <br /> All on-site personnel working the exclusion zone will have the appropriate prior <br /> experience and training in compliance with 29 CFR 1910,120 and Cal-OSHA Title 8 <br /> CCR 5192. Such training includes the 40-hour basic training, 8-hour update training,, <br /> and 8-hour supervisory b-dng for supervisory personnel. <br /> Project-specific training will be provided prior to startup of on-site activities. Tbs <br /> training will include a review of the site Health and Safety Plan. <br /> On-site tailgate meetings will be held daily during the tank removal, and at least <br /> weekly for other site activities. The Contractor Supervisors will conduct these <br /> meetings. This training will be documented as part of the daily documentation for the <br /> site on the attached Site Safety Meeting/Training Log, <br />
