Geosyntec
CO1V,t 11',
The sequence of swabbing/bailing, airlifting, and pumping will be repeated until the field staff,
under the supervision of a California Licensed Professional Geologist, determines the well has
been adequately developed based on stabilization of the specific capacity and groundwater
quality parameters.
Well development water will be stored in a series of water tanks adjacent to the extraction wells.
The water will be transported from the water tanks to the on-site treatment system via vacuum
truck for treatment and disposal.
5.2.2 Hydraulic Testing and Analysis
Following development, step-drawdown tests will be conducted at EW-18A, EW-1813, and
EW-19. During each test, water levels will be monitored with transducers in the extraction well
and in monitoring wells within approximately 2,000 feet of the extraction well. The observations
of hydraulic response will be used to estimate the extraction well efficiency and yield, including
specific capacity, to estimate the aquifer properties and capture, and to evaluate the extraction
flowrates for operation of EW-18A, EW-1813, and EW-19.
5.2.2.1 Transducer Deployment and Retrieval
Pressure transducers will be installed in observation points as described below in Table 2 and
shown in Figure 2.
Table 2: Proposed Observation Wells
Test Well Observation Point Monitoring Well Estimated Distance
(screen interval) Transducers Screen Interval from Extraction
Well**(feet)
PW12-078 65-72 11440
PW16-083 75-80 1,730
PW21-087 79-84 1,620
EW-18A PW26-086 69-79 1,230
(70-95 feet bgs)
PW30-080 70-90 120
PW31-080 70-90 1,130
PW33-085 70-85 1,740
PWO1-129 121-126 440
PW 12-139 131-136 1,440
PW 16-146 138-143 1,730
PW21-155 147-152 1,620
PW26-154 137-147 1,230
EW-18B PW30-130 120-140 120
(110-185 feet bgs) PW30-180 170-190 120
PW31-130 120-140 1,130
PW31-180 170-190 11130
PW33-125 115-125 1,740
PW 34-160 140-160 1,590
P W 35-140 120-140 1,100
Extraction Well Installation Work Plan 7 November 30,2018
