If a new deep monitoring well is installed at this location prior to the extraction well step-test the
monitoring well will be used as an observation point.
** Distances are estimated and may vary depending on the exact locations where the new monitoring wells and
extraction wells are installed.
Figure 2 shows the proposed EW-18A, EW-1813, and EW-19 locations and the location of the
proposed monitoring wells to be used as observation points.
The transducers will be installed in the wells to start recording data at least 12 hours prior to the
start of each step-drawdown test. The transducers will be programmed to record pressure data at
1 minute intervals. Following the completion of the pumping portion of the step-drawdown test,
and after a minimum of 12 hours to allow for recovery, the transducers will be downloaded and
moved to the appropriate observation monitoring wells for the next step-test.
The transducers will be placed approximately 20 to 30 feet below the measured depth to water at
the time of deployment. The depth that the transducers are installed in the wells may be modified
based on the water level response observed during well development. Manual water level
measurements will be taken at each of the wells with a water level meter during both the
transducer deployment and retrieval.
Extraction Well Installation Work Plan 8 November 30,2018
