The feasibility study must evaluate at least two altemative remedial technologies
for initial costs, operating costs, disposal costs, duration, monitoring costs and cleanup goals based on G
the limits of the remedial technology. The CAI? includes the feasibility study, all investigative and
monitoring data, a complete assessment of the lateral and vertical extent of the contamination including
cross sections and complete assessment of the hydrogeology of the site.
When the remedial technology is chosen, pre-approval of the costs by the State Water Resources Control
Board Cleanup Program, will assure that the cost:of remediation will be reimbursable. If you do not get
pre-approval for reimbursement of expenses incurred during the remediation of your site you may proceed
with the proposed workplan at your own expense.
PHSIEHD will archive the May 31, 1996 workplan pending the results of the feasibility study and the
assessment which will be presented in the CAP.
