7-Eleven/Stockton <br /> February 1989 q <br /> increase the efficiency of the remediation systems, a new <br /> recovery well was installed and improvements were made on the <br /> existing treatment equipment during the month of February 1988. <br /> Since February 1988, the groundwater recovery and treatment <br /> system along with venting of the vadose zone has been continuous <br /> except for maintenance shutdowns. <br /> A more detailed account of the previous site work as well as <br /> a description of the site geology and hydrogeology were presented <br /> in two previous GTT reports titled "Project Update Report, 7- <br /> Eleven Store, 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, California" dated <br /> September 1987 and April 1988. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Services performed by GTT during this reporting period <br /> consisted primarily of regularly scheduled operation and <br /> maintenance of the remediation system, and monitoring and <br /> sampling of the groundwater. GTI did not .conduct sampling and <br /> maintenance activities during the month of September through <br /> October ll, 1988. Additional services regarding the site were <br /> conducted that involved the expansion of the soil--vent system, <br /> the proposed addition of a portable Catalytic ScavengerR to the <br /> treatment systsm components, and proposed additional assessment <br /> ,. work.
