+ 7-Eleven/Stockton 24
November 1989
. detectable dissolved--hydrocarbons in the monitoring and pumping
wells sampled during this quarter was confined to MW-1, MW-9,
pW-1, PW-2, and PW-3.
The samples collected from NW-1, MW-9, and PW-1 contained
detectable levels of dissolved hydrocarbons in all sampling
rounds this quarter. Results showed concentrations of TPH-as-
gasoline in MW-1 ranging from 82 to 1200 parts per billion (ppb) .
This is reduced from the levels detected during previous
reporting period. Concentrations of TPH-as-gasoline in MW-9
rang from 16 to 210 p b and in PW-1 fib. Results
ed from pW-2 and PW-3 showed they
from analyses of samples collect
contained levels of dissolved hydrocarbons in at least one
sampling round during this quarter. TPH-as-gasoline was detected
in PW-2 in the first sampling round of this reporting period.
TPH-as-gasoline was detected in the samples from PW-3 for three
sampling rounds. The maximum concentration reported in samples
from these wells was a ppb. All other monitoring and pumping
wells contained non--detertabie levels of dissolved hydrocarbons
in all six sampling rounds. The consistent detection of
dissolved hydrocarbons in MW-9 and PW-1 suggest that the
dissolved hydrocarbon plume beneath the site may have migrated to
the north during this reporting period.
The results of laboratory analyses of groundwater samples
collected from the domestic wells surrounding the site indicate
that dissolved hydrocarbons were detected sporadically. The
domestic wells in which dissolved hydrocarbons were detected
include TMG, 1912, 1927 and 9140. The analytical results showed
that concentrations of TPH-as-gasoline in these wells ranged from
1 ppb in TMG on August 10, 3989, to 13 ppb in 1912 on July 27,
19sg.
