7--Eleven/Stockton
May 1990 21
Monitoring well HW-4, which had previously contained
separate-phase hydrocarhuns (free product) , remained dry during
this reporting period. No other free product was observed.
GROUNDWATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSES
,a•
Sampling of the groundwater monitoring wells
r•; pumping wells
PW-1, PW-2, dnd PW-3, and nearby domestic wells was
> during s reporting Performed
thi
g period. Since wells PW-1, PW-2, and PW-3
are not being used as pumping wells, they were sampled as
monitoring wells. Samples were collected in accordance with
s
Groundwater Technology Sops 9, 10, 11 and 12 (Appendix D) .
Gl:oundwater sampling was conducted by first purging water from
V each well using a clean polyvinyl chloride (PVC) bailer. Each
well was purged of a minimum of four well volumes of water by
hand bailing, unless the well could bepur ed dr
y. The nd-
water was then allowed to recover to at least 80 percent gofuthe
original static water-level prior to sampling. The groundwater
samples were obtained using an EPA-approved TeflonR sampler. The
domestic wells included in Table 2 were also sampled.
W
TABLE 2
DOMESTIC WELL OWNERS
WELL 7D ADDRESS OWNER
TMG
1927 9036 'Thornton Road Tomato Growers Association
1927 Waudman Road Chan
1912 1912 Waudman Avenue
8968 8968 Thornton Road Woods
9160 Kingdom Hal]./Jehovah Witness
9160 Thornton Road Thornton House Furniture/Rocha
9140 9140 Connie Avenue Shimado
9159 9159 Connie Avenue Cortez
9156 9156 Connie Avenue Snyder
-. 9167 9167 Connie Avenue Alter
9172 9172 Thornton Road Ivy 140tel/Lang
All samples were collected in laboratory-supplied
' GHf)1:1i)N;1TFai
Twi,%,,oi,o Y 1,Nc
